Glenn Marzoli, Youth Director
of the Knights of Columbus out of St. James Church recently presented Abbey
Arwady, Director of Youth Development at the Somerset Hills YMCA, with a check
in the amount of $350.00. The two nonprofits partnered in promoting and hosting
a dance for middle school children with proceeds benefiting the Strong Kids
Campaign, the Y’s financial assistance campaign that ensures all individuals in
the community have access to programs and support at the Y regardless of their
ability to pay. The Knights of Columbus dance serves to offer children in the
community an opportunity once a month to come together in a safe and nurturing
environment while having fun, an initiative of both organizations in their
mission to better serve the community’s youth.
