Through NFL Flag/USA Football and their FUNdamentals system, Oben Flag Football introduces children to the sport by teaching basic skills in a FUN and energetic environment. Roman Oben was a starting left tackle in the NFL for over 90% of his games played for the Giants, Browns, Chargers and the Super Bowl XXXVII Buccaneers, and since 2003, he has run instructional football camps around the country. He is also an adjunct professor at Farleigh Dickenson University in sports administration and has testified in U.S. Congressional hearings on the importance of safety in youth sports. For his commitment to youth development, Roman was the San Diego Big Brothers/Big Sisters 2007 Man of the Year.

As seen in prominent TV spots, NFL PLAY 60 is the League's national youth health and fitness campaign, encouraging young fans to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.
