On Tuesday, December 13, the Ridge Wind Ensemble and Concert Bands will perform under the direction of Dan Zugale.

The Wind Ensemble will perform three works: the popular Second Suite for Military Band composed by Gustav Holst, Chorale and Capriccio by Caesar Giovannini and The Eighth Candle by Steve Reisteter.

The Concert Band will also perform three works: Reverberations composed by Brian Balmages, Fanfare on Joy to the World by Jim Curnow and Spirals of Light by Sean O’Loughlin.

The combined bands will conclude the concert with Leroy Anderson’s timeless Sleigh Ride.

On Thursday, December 15, the Ridge Chamber and Symphony Orchestras will perform under the direction of Jennifer Curran.

The Chamber Orchestra will perform the Concerto Grosso in D Major op. 6 no. 7 composed by Arcangelo Corelli.  Yunhee Kang, Cathy Chen, Elaine Lou are featured soloists.

The Symphony Orchestra will perform two works: Fantasia on Greensleeves composed by R. Vaughan Williams and Dance of the Tumblers from the Snow Maiden by Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov.  Eileen Cho, Scott Altman, Amanda Li are featured soloists on the first work.
