The local snowfall that began around lunchtime on Saturday is expected to add up to about 2 to 4 inches of white stuff during the day in the Basking Ridge and Bernardsville area.

The National Weather Service says that snow is due to wrap up before 7 p.m., and tonight's weather should be cloudy with a low of 24 degrees. New nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible, the weather service says.

Sunday is due to be cloudy, the Weather Service says.
