Basking Ridge Patch asked residents whether they'll be voting today, and what they think are important issues in this year's race.

Editor Linda Sadlouskos interviewed Joan Brady and Marie Young, both township residents and realtors with Coldwell-Banker Realtors in Basking Ridge, and Donna Moore, another Coldwell-Banker Realtor and resident of Harding Township. Moore said she shares the same hometown of U.S. Congressional Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, a Republican who is battling Democrat Douglas Herbert to keep his seat in Congress.

Also interviewed were David Choy, township resident and co-owner of Cafe Lotus in downtown Basking Ridge; and Greg Cordasco, owner of Liberty Cycle and a township resident.
