IN SHORT

The Devils came out a little sluggish and let North Hunterdon control the first quarter. But Ridge used its strength, defense, and held the Lions to 7 total points in the middle half. North Hunterdon went on a run in the final frame putting up five 3 pointers and taking the ball inside, drawing a couple of costly fouls.

Ridge held on going 6-for-6 from the free throw line and getting two 3 pointers of their own from Kevin Doolan.

THEY SAID IT

UP NEXT — Ridge will take on the other Red Devils team in the conference, Hunterdon Central, in Flemington at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
