Baby Bella, the daughter of Shirley Solis and Francisco Espinosa of Basking Ridge, was delivered at 12:18 p.m. on Jan. 1 at Somerset Medical Center in Basking Ridge.

Somerset Medical Center on Monday announced that the first baby of 2012 to be born at the hospital in Somerville was Bella Sophia Espinosa, who also now is a new resident of Basking Ridge.
Bella, the daughter of Shirley Solis and Francisco Espinosa of Basking Ridge, was delivered at 12:18 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1. She weighed 6 pounds, 14.4 ounces and measured 20 inches long, the announcement said.
The baby was delivered by obstetrician Wendy Wagner, MD, according to the hospital.
