With the student skiers pitching in to serve food and assist guests, the Bernards High School ski racing team held its 9th annual food and wine tasting fundraiser on Saturday night at the Liberty Corner firehouse in Bernards Township.

The event drew a crowd to sample wines from 56 Degrees wine shop in Bernardsville, pizza and Italian specialties from Millie's Old World Meatballs and Pizza in Morristown and also edibles prepared by the parents of the ski team.

Organizer Steve Katz of Far Hills later said that 180 people attended.

Music was provided by the Psycho-Delics, with members from the Gladstone section of Peapack-Gladstone.

Throughout the evening, students were in the kitchen and out among the guests, carrying trays to serve the partygoers.
