Head to Some Fun Fundraisers
Fire department, boys basketball squad holding events this week.
This week, you can take part in a rock n' roll event and play some hoops, all while helping to raise funds for Basking Ridge organizations.
Here's a look at what else is happening this week:
Monday-The Bernards Board of Education meeting will be held at the Oak Street Elementary School at 7 p.m.
Tuesday-The Bernards Township Committee will hold its meeting at 8 p.m. at the Bernards Township Municipal Court.
Wednesday-A program called "Extinction is Forever" will be held for children ages 4 to 6. The program is about the animals that were on this earth that are now gone. It will be held at 4 p.m. at the Lord Stirling Park Environmental Education Center, and advanced payment is required, so make sure to check the event listing soon.
Thursday-The Bernards Township Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Bernards Township Municipal Court.
Friday-The United Methodist Women of Bishop Janes will hold their annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bishop Janes United Methodist Church. They will also be holding it on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday-Come out for a night of music and dancing with some friends, light food, and refreshments to benefit the Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1 is holding. They are calling it a night of rock n' roll, and music will be provided by the band The Tattered Prophets.
Sunday-A 3-on-3 boys basketball tournament will be held as a fundraiser to benefit the Ridge boys basketball program. The event will be held in the Ridge High School gymnasium.
