This week's list of open houses, scheduled for home tours on Sunday, does include some smaller condominiums and townhouses with two bedrooms or even one — but a lot of the homes open for looking this week are four bedrooms or larger, and a bit palatial.

Of course, it would be impossible to discount that mortgage rates remain lower than some would have ever thought possible, with rates offered well below 4 percent even for 30-year-fixed mortgages.
