Voices in The Night
Where/When: Friday, April 15 at the Lord Stirling Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge at 7 p.m.
Why Go: You'll hold tight to your family's and friends' hands as you learn not everything you hear at night is scary.
Pricing: $7 per adult, or $6 per youth or senior
Spring Plant Sale & Earth Day Celebration
Where/When: April 16 and 17 at The Leonard J. Buck Garden in Far Hills. Saturday hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday hours are from noon to 5 p.m.
Why Go: You'll enjoy the spring air and Earth Day celebration with a guided tour of the naturalistic rock garden, and you can bring some perennials home to continue the beauty.

‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at The Shakespeare Theatre
Where/When: 11 a.m. at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison on Saturday, April 16.
Why Go: Because you like Shakespeare and you want to see a mid-day performance of one of his most notable works.

Joe Conte of Parsippany to Perform at The Comedy Shoppe
Where/When: 7 p.m. at Suppa’s Restaurant in Montville on Saturday, April 16.
Why Go: Because guests can check out a local comedian while grabbing some dinner at Suppa’s. Dinner is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and the comedy begins at 9 a.m.
Pricing: $10 admission.
Skate for Love
Where/When: 7 p.m. at the William G. Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township on Saturday, April 16.
Why Go: Because proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, an organization that combats breast cancer and provides funding for research. Also, it’s a chance to see some figure skating stars.
Pricing: $20 for general admission seating.
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at The Sanctuary Concerts Series
Where/When: At the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 16.
Why Go: Because the band will perform hits from some of its platinum albums, and admission will include desserts, coffee, and soft-drinks.

Easter Egg Hunt & Barn Activities
Where/When: Friday, April 15 through Saturday, April 23 at Alstede Farms in Chester. Check for times in this event posting.
Why Go: To hop along and enjoy hayrides, egg hunts, pony rides and much more. Bring your camera and smile with the Easter Bunny.

Storytime With a Visit From Toot and Puddle
Where/When: Sunday, April 17 at the Bridgewater Barnes & Noble Booksellers at 11:30 a.m.

Egg-Stravaganza
Where/When: Sunday, April 17 at the Lord Stirling Park Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge. Two sessions will be held: 10 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Why Go: Children ages 3 to 6 will learn about all kinds of eggs from animals. An Easter Egg hunt and coloring will be part of the fun.
