Two Ridge High teams competed on Saturday, but only one walked away with a victory as the boys soccer team advanced in tournament play.

Boys Soccer Stops Watchung Hills

Brian Korn scored to lift the Ridge boys soccer team past Watchung Hills, 1-0, in the second round of the Somerset County Tournament, according to NJ.com. Nick Hale had an assist and goalie Kieran McCarthy stopped nine shots for Ridge (4-9-1).

Girls Field Hockey Falls

The Ridge girls field hockey team fell to Montgomery, 3-1, in a Somerset County Tournament quarterfinal matchup, according to NJ.com. Ridge is 5-8-1.
