On Friday, June 15th, nine local bands or individual musicians took the stage in the basement of the Bishop Janes United Methodist Church in downtown Basking Ridge. Tickets were $10 and all proceeds went to Habitat for Humanity.

The show was run by students who were members of the Ridge High School Habitat for Humanity Club. Approximately $2,100 was raised at the concert for Habitat for Humanity, said Alex Wilke, also one of the performers.

Anybody is interested in volunteer opportunities with habitat next school year, they can contact Mrs. Illian, the club supervisor, at CIllian@bernardsboe.com.

This video of the evening's program was done by Sean Kirby, and that the sound system was run by Adam Connolly, both RHS seniors.

The lineup of musicians included:

Brookside
Kailey Rocker
Tomorrow at One
Anil Salem
Gold
Peter Woo and Alex Wilke
Ross Newhouse
Niki Sumka
Elodie!

Great jobs by these local bands raising about $2K and providing some wonderful music, too!
