81 Photos: Middle School Dance Makes a Splash at Pleasant Valley Pool

The Pleasant Valley Pool was closed Monday night to the general public. Instead, over 200 Middle School students danced, dived and swam for 3 hours at this special event hosted by the Pool Commision.
The young people danced around the pool to the music of a DJ, participated in a hula-hoop contest, and raced across the pool in a balloon relay.
Bruce Ficken, Pool Commision Chairman, said the night was a great success noting the pool was full of kids and the sounds of laughter were everywhere.
