Could someone please find out why Somerville Road between Mountain Road and Allen Road is not listed as being closed! I live on Somerville Road and I could not get thru today, because of down power lines by Parkwood Lane! Am I to believe that it is safe to drive over these downed wires! And why have there not been any power trucks in this area since Saturday when 5 drove out of Mountain Road and went down Somerville Road, not stopping to make any repairs! Please someone tell me!

I have the same question about Rock Road West in Green Brook near the corner of Top Ave. There is a pole leaning from one side to the other and a whole bunch of wires handing down across the road. Nice cones on one side of the road, but what makes this okay and not other roads with the same amount of wires (and no pole leaning over) all over the place?

When will Vosseller Ave., a snow emergency route, be opened? And will Martinsville ever get power back? Those of us without generators are slowly turning to popcycles!
