BIG BLUE BOYS SWIMMER OF THE MEET

Alex Mango — Mango was part of the winning 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams.  "He beat one of the best kids in the state in the 100 backstoke" - Pingry boys coach Bill Reichle

THEY SAID IT

"Our backstrokers made the difference in the meet.  We did not expect them to do as well as they did.  We are looking forward to the Somerset County meet."— Pingry boys coach Bill Reichle

BIG BLUE GIRL SWIMMER OF THE MEET

Margaret Ding — "She won the 100 breaststroke coming from behind and did a marvelous job in the 100 butterfly and she has not swam that all season." -— Pingry girls head coach Judy Lee

THEY SAID IT

"Our goals coming into the meet were to try some different events and do some serious swims and see what we can do when we are not swimming our strongest events.  We did really well.  We scored 70 points which is more than I anticipated.  The girls are pretty proud of themselves and so am I." — Pingry girls head coach Judy Lee

UP NEXT — Pingry will host Ridge on Thursday, 4 p.m.
