Attempted Break-in Probed at Maintenance Garage
Spring Ridge housing development's garage keypads damaged, window trim pried off, cops say.
Bernards Township Police said that in the final days of summer, damage occurred to a maintenance garage at the Spring Ridge housing development as a result of an apparently unsuccessful attempt to enter the building.
According to a report apparently filed by the manager for the Spring Ridge Association, entry was attempted some time between Aug. 31 and Sept. 4, police said.
The keypads on the building were damaged, and pieces of trim on the window also had been pried off, according to the police report.
The manager also told police that a lock and chain had been taken from the complex's tennis courts, but were later recovered, the police report said.
Police said there are suspects in the case.
