Ridge Boys Soccer Gets to Quarterfinals Before Loss

The Ridge Boys made it to the state quarter-finals, but dropped Tuesday's game against Scotch Plains-Fanwood, played in Scotch Plains.

The game went 5-0 to No. 1 seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood in North Jersey 2, Group 2. The boys ended their season 7-10-3.

Senior night was played prior to Hurricane Sandy, when the Ridge team held Franklin High School to a 0-0 tie after double overtime. The team then moved onto the first round of the state playoffs against Union, which Ridge won 2-1.
