The Ridge High School boys and girls fencing teams played host to the Red Devils of Hunterdon Central Tuesday afternoon at Ridge. Central previously was undefeated in competition coming into Tuesday's meet — but the Ridge boys fencers outmatched their counterparts from Central for a final tally of 16-11 in Ridge's favor.

IN SHORT
The boys fencing team faced previously undefeated Hunterdon Central and came away winners. Notable winners were Mitchell Henthorn on sabre (3-0), and Matthew Yin (2-0) and captain Connor Pelos (2-0), both on epee. The Ridge girls were a depleted squad due to fencers competing in other meets. Winners for the girls team on epee were Rita Bianchi, Amanda Choy and Anita Harrington, all 2-1.
