About facing Plainfield's punishing 295-pound lineman, Dewel Bencosme, Evan Regan said, "It didn't feel too good, but I fought back and I just found a way to push through it. No matter what the size or how big they are, I am still going to be able to hit them."
"They definitely hit hard, they know how to hit. I am going to be sore tomorrow. It feels great to be conference champs. The fact that no one can take that away from me, our names up on the banner, that is definitely something special. It hasn't really kicked in yet, but it definitely will."—Evan Skea

COACH'S TAKE
"I am very proud of our team. From where we were last year, we were pretty down and out. I have to thank God for pulling us through and helping us develop the character that we needed and for the kids to apply themselves this season. And we are conference champions today. It doesn't get any better than that."—Ridge head coach Bill Tracy
