IN SHORT
An exciting game throughout, Ridge showed solid penalty killing skills holding off the Panthers on four power plays in the first and second periods. One better, Tom Carpenter scored a shorthanded goal off a pass from Kyle Leddy in the first period. Ridge did turn it on the Panthers when Leddy scored a power play goal off assists from Oliver Peloso and Derek Vogt.
The game did get ramped up a notch at the end when, with 40 seconds left in the game, Bridgewater pulled their goalie. Although they had numerous opportunites to score, they were turned back every time. The game did get out of hand as time expired with some rough play and pushing and shoving in the Ridge zone.

THEY SAID IT
"We had a good shift, a lot of pressure and I got a chance and I was kind of upset I didn't put it in there. Luckily they left the puck out in front with nobody there and I got it in. This was a big win going into Randolph Wednesday. Hopefully we can keep this going." — Kyle Leddy
UP NEXT - Ridge will travel to play Randolph Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.
