The Ridge High School boys and girls swim teams traveled to neighboring Pingry School for a meet Thursday afternoon. The Ridge team faced tough competition against highly-ranked Pingry, and trailed Pingry's total score.

IN SHORT
The Ridge squads were limited to only two wins in the entire event. Undefeated Pingry boys, ranked No. 7 by the Star Ledger, had beaten No. 6 Bridgewater earlier in the week.
DEVIL BOY SWIMMER OF THE MEET
Matt Glockenmeier — Solid performances in the 50 and 100 and the relays.
DEVIL GIRL SWIMMER OF THE MEET
Sarah Valente — 2nd in the 100 backstroke and strong performance in 100 freestyle.
BIG BLUE BOY SWIMMER OF THE MEET
James Ross — James won the 100 butterfly and breaststroke
BIG BLUE GIRL SWIMMER OF THE MEET
Marissa Werner — Improved her personal time in the 400 freestyle by 13 seconds and swam the 100 breaststoke
