Thanks for assistance during Sandy
Earlier in the season, the Shrine of Saint Joseph thanked its local community members for their assistance during Superstorm Sandy. Like many in the area, the Shrine was hit hard by the storm, with fallen trees and an extensive power outage.
The shrine community, which received generous support from its neighbors offered gratitude at a special community appreciation event on Dec. 2.
Established in 1940, the shrine says it has the area’s largest selection of high-quality religious products at reasonable prices. The shop features books, rosaries, medals, CDs, DVDs, crosses, greeting cards and gifts for every occasion.
