Ridge Girls Basketball Roars Back For Victory

The Ridge High School girls basketball (3-8) was down at the half in Tuesday's game against Montgomery High School (5-7), but worked some magic starting in the third period that ultimately led to a 45-38 victory for Ridge on their home court.

Trailing 24-13 at the half, Ridge came roaring back in the third period to tie the score at 27 with 2:11 left in the quarter. Ridge would take the lead and never look back.
 
Ridge was led by senior Katelyn Neillands with 18 points, scoring on three 3 pointers and 9-14 shooting from the free throw line. 

Sam Mahon added 10 points, Kristina Mueller 9 points, and Monica Schumacher another 7.
 
NEXT UP: Ridge will host North Hunterdon Thursday at 7 p.m.
