The driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck a Basking Ridge woman, knocking her unconscious in a King George Road parking lot received a summons for the incident, Warren Township Police said.

Venkata Moparthi, 25, of Piscataway, was charged with careless driving following a police investigation that included reviewing video footage of the incident, which occurred in the parking lot of the Citi Group Complex Tuesday at about 8:50 a.m.

Seema Samtani, 36, of Basking Ridge, was taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

Samtani was reportedly knocked unconscious when she was struck, and was treated at the scene by two nurses working at the offices.
