Where is This? It's a Well-known Fall Destination

Wightman's Farm off Route 202 in Harding Township, just north of the Somerset County border, attracts crowds each fall.

It's Wightman's Farm, on Route 202 south of Morristown. This serene and picturesque view was photographed on a weekday in late August, before fall's crowds arrive in search of pumpkins, cider, the corn maze and more. The "U-pick Apples" trees, where visitors pick their own apples fresh from the farm, is glimpsed on the left hand side of the photo.

Want some great local corn? Some of the season's first fresh apples?

How about those famous cider donuts and fruit pies that Wightman's Farms is famous for?

Well, if you want to get a shot at picking up all of those goodies in peace, NOW is the time to head to Wightman's Farm off Route 202 in Harding Township.

This is our "Where is It?/What is It?" photograph from Tuesday.

The farm, north of the Somerset County border and south of Morristown along Route 202, is jammed on fall weekends when crowds in cars and busloads of children come from everywhere to pick or purchase pumpkins, go on hayrides, navigate the annual corn maze — or head out to pick their own apples. The apple-picking section of the farm is on the far left of this photo.

This is the red barn in the main parking lot, which soon will be blocked with parked cars — and lots of them.

So enjoy this local preserved farm while it's less crowded.
