With bands from Bernards and Bridgewater in attendance, the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster is hosting Battle of the Bands Saturday as part of Youth Art Month.

According to a release from the center, this event is part of the Youth Art Month programming, and will be held Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the location on Burnt Mills Road in Bedminster.

The event will feature performances by “Into the Trees” from Bernards High School, “Impulse” from Bridgewater-Raritan High School and “Panic Switch” from Newark Academy.

The public is invited to attend the event, and the winning band will receive a $100 gift certificate to the Guitar Center.

Admission is $5 at the door for the event.

Refreshments will be served.

Youth Art Month is an event being held at the center throughout March to feature artwork by local students.
