Students in the Pride Club at the Liberty Corner Elementary School were busy even before school started on Thursday, Veterans Day, writing letters of appreciation to patients living at the Veterans Administration hospital in nearby Lyons. The letters were scheduled to be delivered later on Thursday. "Dear Veteran: Thank you for fighting for our country. You are awesome for doing that.
