 ll members of the community who wish to participate in learning the trad
 itional music of Scotland and performing in New Jersey&rsquo\;s premier 
 Scottish pipe band are welcome to attend. The pipe band performs in loca
 l and tri-state area parades\, festivals\, special events and competitio
 ns and is highlighted as the featured band for Tarta Day on Ellis Island
  every April. Musical and marching instruction is provided by Pipe Major
  David Palladino-Sinclair\, and Drum Instructor and Eastern United State
 s Pipe Band Association&nbsp\;Judge Gordon Bell. The band was formed in 
 2007 and emulates the traditions and style of the military pipe bands of
  the Scottish Regiments and takes its name from the symbol of the Rampan
 t Lion\, the heraldic design of the kings of Scotland dating back to the
