Ridge High Winter Chorus Concert
The Ridge High Music Department celebrates the holiday season with its annual Winter Choral Concert on Tuesday, December 18 at 7 pm. The concert at the Ridge Performing Arts Center features several ensembles under the direction of Barbara Retzko, including the Ridge Chorale, the A Cappella Choir Honors, Voices of Ridge, Ridgemen and the Concert Choir. The A Cappella ensemble will perform a portion of their December Caroling repertoire.
The concert will conclude with the annual alumni sing O Holy Night and the Grand Finale of George Frideric Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus. As always, the audience is invited to participate in the performance of the Handel masterpiece.

Ridge High School was one of three New Jersey high schools designated as a Blue Ribbon School in 2009 by the U.S. Department of Education for excellence in academic achievement.
Ridge High has 1,639 students and maintains a 14.4 student-to-teacher ratio. Fifty percent of students graduate with at least one passing grade in an Advanced Placement class according to a Newsweek report on the top schools in the U.S. Newsweek ranked Ridge as the 177th best school in the nation and third in New Jersey.
Ridge also has a wide variety of after-school sports programs and extracurricular activities—from a competitive football program to one of the state's best high school debate teams.
