The Ridge Runners XC Club is designed for children of all abilities. This program will involve weekly practices with a focus on athletic conditioning and specific training for Cross Country running. Athletes will participate in weekend Cross-Country meets with the option of racing in the USATF Junior Olympics. All athletes will be trained at their appropriate level. The season will begin in September and conclude in November. All interested runners, boys and girls, in grades 4-8, between the ages of 9 -14 are eligible to participate. High School athletes may not participate.

More About Bernards Township Pleasant Valley Park
Located just off Valley Road, Pleasant Valley Park offers a number of recreational opportunities for residents of Bernards Township.
Along with the community pool in the summertime (open from May to September), the park contains 1.5 miles of walking trails, six tennis courts, a basketball court, baseball fields, a stocked pond available to fish without a license, amphitheatre, picnic tables and several open play areas.
