Come be part of an Irish Pipe and Drum Band! 

The Guard is actively seeking musicians, both pipers and drummers, to perform with us.  We are looking for people willing to contribute to the development of musical quality.  We are accepting members who would like to play in competition, as well as, those who wish only to contribute to our performance work.

One of our goals is to pass the art of piping and drumming on to a new generation of players.  As such, we have very stringent rules as to who we accept as students.  A candidate must be willing to learn how to play!  Once this commitment is made, then we would like to help you learn to play the bagpipes, snare drum, tenor drum or other instrument (for which we have instructors).  Contact us if you’re interested in joining.

Band practice is held every Wednesday evening at the Bedwell Elementary School - 141 Seney Drive Bernardsville, NJ 07924 

Our practice schedule is:

7:00 - 8:00PM  - Beginning students on chanters or drum pads
8:00 - 8:30PM  - Parade and Competition Band chanter practice
8:30 - 9:30PM  - Parade and Competition Band practice on the pipes
