Open casting for all parts in the Trilogy Repertory production of The Brementown Musicians will take place at the Bernards Township Community Center, 289 South Maple Ave., Basking Ridge starting at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 11. The Brementown Musicians is a participation play, written to involve an audience of children directly in the events occurring on stage. It is based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Six actors, ages 16 and up are needed to perform different roles in this production. No experience is necessary and auditions will consist of improvisations and cold readings from the script.
Jaye Barre of Basking Ridge is directing this production for Trilogy and Eleanor Klinger will produce. Rehearsals will begin immediately and performances will be given at area libraries on three Saturdays, January 12, 19 and 26.
