Join Festival of Trees in time for December.

Want to be part of the annual Festival of Trees at Somerset County's Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge? Well, call the EEC as soon as possible with your idea for a (non-perishable artificial) tree display.

The EEC was calling out for last-minute participants on Monday on Twitter and on Facebook.

There still are some spots left for individuals or groups to bring decorated trees to the Festival of Trees. Call Christa 908-766-2489 ext 337 or email her at cwood@scparks.org for details, the EEC's Facebook Page says.

The fun, non-denominational Festival of Trees again will take place in December at The Environmental Education Center at 190 Lord Stirling Road, according to an earlier announcement.
