Rivalry Renewed: Ridge vs. Immaculata Friday at Somerville
Red Devils look to continue momentum after season-opening rout of Montgomery.
It's a sweet moment that Ridge High School football alumni remember years later: the game when the Red Devils beat rival Immaculata.
On Friday, at 7 p.m., it's time for that match-up again, with the action this year moved back to Somerville. Immaculata's home field is Brooks Field at Somerville High School. The game was played there two years ago, following last year's contest at home at Lee Field — which Ridge won.
Ridge already got off to a good start with last Sunday's rescheduled season opener against Montgomery High School, which Ridge won 55-14.
