Meet Panel of Authors of Teen Books at Library

Public invited to free presentation.

Fans are invited Thursday night to hear teen authors Caela Carter, a Ridge High School graduate, along with Corey Ann Haydu and Jessica Verdi discuss their recent books and the health, mind, and body issues their characters face in a free presentation at the Bernards Township Library, 32 S. Maple Ave., Basking Ridge.

This free session will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Program Room B at the library. This is a teen program for ages 12 and up.

Each author will do a dramatic reading from their work. Then the panel will turn to an open question and answer session where the audience can ask the authors what they wish, including details about their books, their writing process, how they got published — "whatever you want!"

Reading the books before the program is not necessary but copies of all three books are available at the library.

Registration is requested on the library website at www.BernardsLibrary.org or by emailing kolivari@bernards.org. However, Karen Oliveri, teen librarian, said interested participants can show up even without registering.
