Ridge Rally Flags Support Red Devils Football, Raise Funds For Ski Team

Unbeaten Ridge to play for state title Dec. 8 at Rutgers.

The Ridge High School ski racing team is showing support by selling "Ridge Rally" flags to bring to the Dec. 8 state final championship for the unbeaten Red Devils football team — and also raising funds for this season's skiers.

As of Monday, no more than 40 flags were left, 13 with poles to hang the flags beforehand.

The flags are suitable for flying at home beforehand, and then bringing to the game at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, at Rutgers University Stadium, 1 Scarlet Knight Way, Piscataway, according to the Ridge Red Devils football website.

The cost is $25 per flag, or $30 for the flag and pole.

Ridge football fans who've followed their team through an unbeaten 11-0 season can head to the state championship against No. 2-seeded Union for the North 2, Group 5 season championship.

This year's team has reached the state final after Friday night's 28-14 semifinal victory over opponents Linden at home.
