Applications Now Being Accepted for Bryan's Dream Foundation 2014 Scholarship

Bryan’s Dream Foundation announces the 2014 Bryan T. Opremcak Memorial Scholarship to all Ridge High School graduating seniors. This scholarship is designed to honor the spirit and determination of Bryan, while he fought this deadly disease. The scholarship, funded by a donation from Nancy & Tim Opremcak, is in memory of their son, Bryan T. Opremcak, who passed away in 2006 of a brain tumor. “We are proud to provide this scholarship once again to a senior boy and girl in memory of our son, Bryan. We want to reward two outstanding students who not only have excellent academic records, but who are committed to public service.”

Providing this scholarship to deserving Ridge students will raise brain tumor awareness and reward those who “pay it forward” and give back to the community. Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. Criteria for this scholarship will emphasize strong grades and community service.

Applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 30, 2014. Additional information and application forms can be found on the website at: www.bryansdream.org or at the Ridge High School Guidance Department.
