Gotta Dance Dynamite Dance Team Jersey Shore Jams Performance and Fundraising Event

Dynamite Dance Team, a youth dance company dedicated to community involvement and fundraising, invites you to join them for ‘Jersey Shore Jam’s at Basking Ridge High School this Sunday August 18th, from 3:15-5:30pm, doors open at 3:00pm.   ‘Jersey Shore Jams’ is a fundraiser with 100% of donations going towards shore rebuilding efforts. The Dynamite Dance team has set a goal of raising $18,000 during this event.

This performance group is made up of Gotta Dance students who auditioned for the opportunity to participate in January.  Dancers in the Amethyst Level and above are chosen to partake in this fantastic company.  Team members learn and rehearse dances and have created visual art, all of which will be displayed at the event.  With the help of director Linda Kilponen, a former Radio City Rockette, these talented dancers have worked hard to prepare an exciting beach themed show.

Hurricane Sandy was an event that touched the lives of every Gotta Dance family.  This year when choosing a charity to raise funds for, Gotta Dance was driven to focus fundraising efforts towards Jersey Shore rebuilding.  All proceeds will be donated directly to Hugh J. Boyd Elementary School.   This school, located in Seaside Heights, NJ, was completely destroyed in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.  While rebuilding efforts are on going, this donation will help the school afford new books and other materials lost from the storm.
