Annual Canine Scavenger Hunt Set for Aug. 21 at Lord Stirling

Calling All Dogs and Their Human Companions for Friends of Lord Stirling Stable's 11th annual scavenger hunt.

The Friends of Lord Stirling Stable will host its 11th Annual “Canine Scavenger Hunt” on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 21, at Lord Stirling Stable's grounds in Basking Ridge.

Participating dogs (with a little help from their owners) can nose along the trails at the riding facility in search of canine treats and treasures. Prizes will be awarded to all participants, according to the Friends of Lord Stirling Stable.

Registration will begin at 4 p.m. at the Lord Stirling office at 256 S. Maple Ave.

The "hunt" takes place from 5 to 6 p.m. The fee is $10 per dog and handler ,with a $2 charge for each additional person.
