Escape to Wagner Farm Arboretum's Spring Boutique

Visit Saturday and enjoy Warren Township's Green Fair, too.

Just like the daffodil and dogwood blooms,Wagner Farm Arboretum's Spring Boutique opens as the weather warms, offering a special shopping experience for those looking for craft items and locally-produced farm specialties.

This weekend marks the final weekend for the boutique, so make plans to visit between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday.

It's a great opportunity to find special last-minute Mother's Day gifts, too. Among the exhibitors is Kristina Lloyd of Basking Ridge, whose display will include beaded jewelry, cards, photography and a painting.

The boutique has a selection of locally-produced honeys, in addition to the selection of artwork, hand-made jewelry and other crafts. Treat yourself to a bar of hand-crafted organic soap, perhaps the apple-cinnamon, for a refreshing wash.

On Saturday, you can also enjoy Warren Township's Green Fair, an event planned by the township's Green Team to highlight sustainability projects, with recycling drop-offs for styrofoam, electronics and more. Electric cars manufactured by Tesla and BMW will also be on hand. The fair will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
