Homes Needed for Dogs Rescued From Storm-Affected Shelters

Storms down South hit home for displaced pets of all ages, who need a new place to live.

If you're looking for a new "best friend," we've searched area shelters and rescue groups to help identify some pets in need of new homes for you to consider adopting. Each week, we'll bring you some of the animals in the area.

This week, we're featuring a handful of the pets available through Rawhide Rescue, a Warren-based rescue group dedicated helping to find new homes for pets.

A special adoption day is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at the Cherrybrook Premium Pet Supplies store in Bedminster.

Rawhide Rescue specializes in placing abandoned dogs in "foster" homes while seeking new families. The group brings many of their adoptable dogs to Petsmart in the Bridgewater Promenade for the store's Adoption Days.
