It's Bearly Been a Year

Black bear returns to northern Basking Ridge area for another neighborly visit.

Angelo Clerici of Beechwood Road submitted another set of photos of a visiting bear who was in his neighborhood on Thursday morning — just about a year after last year's visit.

The bear was in the area of William Street and Beechwood Road at around 7:30 a.m. Among his stops was a little break to nose around a blue wheel barrow that Clerici said his neighbor uses for wood chips.

"The bear just walked by and heard the click of my camera shooting pictures and stopped and looked at me," Clerici said when submitted the photos. "Then I took another picture."
