Tickets available for event from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Two of some of the consuming passions in the Somerset Hills — horses and holiday celebrations — are due to come together from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the with master storyteller Linda Howe's "Horse and Holiday Tales."

The storytelling will include a group art project that will use recycled materials to create a horse that will be displayed at the Farmstead Arts center's "stables." The historic farmstead at 650 King George Road has been offering many art exhibits and performances since the center opened a little more than a year ago.

The cost is $10 for adults and children, $5 for seniors and children 5 and under. Tickets are available at the door, according to the website for the Farmstead Arts.
