Retired Air Force Officer From Bernards Killed In Arizona Glider Accident

A retired Air Force Officer with more than 3,900 flying hours logged was killed in a glider plane accident outside of Phoenix Az. on Saturday when a towrope disconnected, causing the glider to detach from the airplane it was attached to, according to nj.com.

Retired Maj. Gen. Robert A. Knauff, 61 was a member of Bernards High School Class of 1971, according to nj.com.
