Holiday Boutique Comes to Wagner Farm Arboretum

Doors open on Dec. 13 at annual Holiday Boutique at Wagner Farm Arboretum, with Santa to visit on Dec. 14.

Wagner Farm Arboretum has scheduled this year's Holiday Boutique from Friday, Dec. 13 through Sunday, Dec. 22, with Santa set to fly in to greet children on Sat., Dec. 14.

Whether you are looking for a special gift, small hostess gifts and tasty holiday treats, or jewelry to dress up your winter look, the holiday boutique will offer the work of local artisans and vendors set out on display. As of Friday, about 30 participating vendors had signed up, said Suzanne Smith, president of the non-profit preserved arboretum at 197 Mountain Ave. in Warren.

Some of the items to be available for sale will include wood carvings, local honey products, pottery, paintings and sketches, home goods, chocolates, knitted and crocheted apparel, nuts, jam and more.

Those who stop by can look for a gift for your friends, teachers, loved ones, and yourselves, and support the arboretum at the same time. A portion of the vendor’s proceeds go to the arboretum. All sales are tax-exempt, according to the arboretum.

Santa will be visiting the arboretum’s Holiday Boutique on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a snow date of Dec 21. Children 10 years old and under can visit with Santa and receive a gift. Price per visit, with a gift, is $10.

Admission is free, and light refreshments are available for purchase.

The boutique is open on weekdays, and for two weekends.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m.  to 2 p.m.; and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
