Normal schedule expected to resume Monday along Gladstone train line.

Although Bernardsville trains heading east were running on a normal schedule as of Friday mid-day, said a NJ Transit employee at the scene, NJ Transit's website said that rail service is due to disrupted further west along the Gladstone branch through Sunday as a result of damage sustained from severe flooding along the line on Thursday.

Additionally, the Friday train schedule from Bernardsville was modified, and customers were asked to check the website for further updates.

On Friday, NJ Transit employees and Bernardsville police said damage had been sustained between the Bernardsville and Far Hills stations, and also at another location near the Peapack station in Peapack-Gladstone.

Ongoing repairs were taking place on Friday, with additional work to be done.
