The Church of the Messiah invites the public to their first fundraiser Christmas Cookie Walk. Guests will find tables filled with trays upon trays of homemade Christmas cookies of all different varieties and sizes: cut-out, drop, bar, and shaped cookies as well as sugar-free, gluten-free and fancy decorated cookies. Admission is free and cookies will be available for purchase at $7.00 per pound. All cookies will be labeled with their name and a complete list of ingredients. Guests will be provided with gloves and a container to hand-pick their selections.
So why not leave the baking to us and solve those holiday gift giving dilemmas of what to give the teacher, mailman, hostess, or co-worker all the while selecting cookies for your own family's cookie jar too!
While visiting the festival guests are invited to view a collection of internationally crafted manger scenes, or crèches, belonging to congregation members which will be decorating the festival tables.
The Christmas Cookie Walk is a new fundraiser to benefit the programs of the church such as food pantry donations, toys for needy children, Easter baskets for clients of area food pantries, Mission trip supplies, and support for our music program.
