As permanent chronicles, letters remain an important part of women’s history, often providing the only source of communication, eye witnessing and social and political commentary open to them. Through their letters women have been able to expound on politics, interpret the world through feminine eyes, offer advice to others and provide comfort and cheer. Spend an enchanted afternoon enjoying the fine art of letter writing as storytelling—may you be inspired to send off a letter as well! Among the women portrayed in this performance are Emily Eden, Lady Mary Wortley Montague and Vita Sackville-West
