Third Annual Harvest Fest and NJ Microbrew Night

St. James Men of Charity will host their 3rd annual Harvest  Fest & NJ Microbrew Night on Sat. Sept. 24th - 6:30 PM  at the St. James School Gymnasium.   The proceeds of  the event will benefit Men of Charity projects targeted for  local families in urgent need as a result of the economic downturn.  There will be German Fest foods and music as well as microbrews from NJ craft brewers and home brewers.  Cricket Hill Brewery - Fairfield, NJ headlines a group of local breweries that include: Climax Brewery, Harvest Moon Brewery, Trap Rock Brewery, Ramstein, NJ Beer Co., East Coast Brewing, River Horse Brewery, Boaks Brewing, and Flying Fish Brewery.
Tasting contests for the home brewers along with an exciting Tricky Tray raffle.  Tickets are only $40.  They include a commemorative tasting glass, food, wine, soda,  and microbrews.  There will also be on an onsite  babysitting service (3 years and older) offered by the St.  James Respect Life Committee for $10 per family.  RSVP  needed kgsmp@aol.com

The Men of Charity are a ministry group at St. James Church in Basking Ridge dedicated to performing acts of charity and service inside and outside the parish community.  Through the grassroots efforts of this group, many local families have been assisted.  Past projects include: Morristown Soup kitchen, clothing drives, grocery gift cards donations, and Chili & Chowder Cook-off for Charity among others.
